A Taste of Paris in Weston: Bonjout French Bakery

You dont need a boarding pass to experience a little slice of Paris. Tucked away in Weston, FL, Bonjour French Bakery gives all the French cafe vibes -- minus the jet lag and the money exchange.

As a traveler in my mid-twenties with big dreams and a modest budget, I live for local gems like these. Bonjour is a reminder that adventure doesnt allows means hopping on a plane -- sometimes it's just discovering what's in your backyard.

The Bonjour Experience

Stepping inside Bonjour feels like a scene from a French heaven. The smell of buttery pastries greets you immediately, and the soft hum of conversation pairs perfectly with the mellow cafe music. I ordered eggs benedict, fraiser (fresh strawberries and cream), a chocolate bonjour roll, flourless chocolate cake (for my gluten intolerant dad) and a delicious French latte. Although it sounds like very much, it was great to share it with my family and friend. Every bite was a little "oui" moment. The croissant roll was prefectly flaky and the latte? Like a huge cup of espresso without the jittery feeling.

The staff was super friendly, the space was bright with lots of sunlight and the vibe was cozy, but trendy. It's a spot I could spend hours in trying yummy desserts while working on a group project that is due at 11:59pm that same night...

Why You Should Go

If youre a Gen Z traveler plotting a South Florida trip or just someone craving a little aesthetic moment in your week, Bonjour is it. It's ideal for:

  • Digital nomads who need a cute work spot

  • Low-key brunch dates

  • Weekend self-care outings

  • Aesthetic food pics for your social media page (hehe)

Budget-Friendly Bougie

Majority of the items on the menu are under $10, which is a win for anyone balancing wanderlust with an entry-level paycheck. Pro tip: go earlier in the day to have the best pastry selection.

Final Thoughts
